ÆMONA at the Fashion Show in Milan

In November 2023, ÆMONA participated in the Marlè fashion show in Milan, presented at the Fabbrica del Vapore. The event, dedicated to emerging brands and new design voices, brought together diverse approaches to contemporary fashion with a clear focus on individual vision and strongly conceptual presentation. The invitation to collaborate from Marlè Magazine offered an opportunity to place the collection in an unconventional context — a format that transformed the fashion show into a comprehensive visual experience. Under the direction of choreographer Florin Vitan, the presentations of individual collections unfolded through movement, light, and atmosphere, resembling a contemporary performance more than a traditional fashion show.

ÆMONA presented the Umbra collection, inspired by the exploration of shadows — both literal and metaphorical. The Umbra collection investigates contrasts — between light and shadow, the visible and the hidden, the conscious and the unconscious. The garment thus became a canvas where these shifts materialized through transparency, layering, and the deliberate revelation of form.

The event was attended by over 1,500 people, confirming the broad interest in auteur, independent, and experimental fashion. We are pleased to have been part of a platform that promotes thoughtful design and creates space for new creative practices.
